501 (c)(3) Non-profit Organization

Partners For a New Beginning is dedicated to spreading awareness and education on the topic of heroin and opiate addiction. Founded in 2016 by a devoted group of mothers and daughters wanting to make a change in their community. The board members, having all been affected in one way or another by substance abuse, addiction, and death; decided to create this organization to help their community.

We work closely with other local groups and facilities of the Lehigh Valley to provide addiction and recovery resources to their community. Our mission is to come together and support those affected by addiction and help battle this epidemic together. Our community needs to stop the stigmatization of those in the throes of addiction, and instead promote prevention and education. This crisis not only impacts addicts but also the families who suffer in silence and shame.

We are families breaking the silence and the shame of a loved one affected by the heroin epidemic and we will no longer be silent. Addiction to drugs does not discriminate. It does not matter where you live, how much you make, or the way you were raised.

Our goals include:

  • Developing more educational programs for schools

  • Creating more support groups
